My Favorite Cover

Jennifer Lawrence's April 2012 cover for Glamour magazine is my personal favorite. The magazine's masthead isn't fully revealed but you are still able to tell what it is. The cover lines are bold and visible. The black background of the magazine makes the fonts and main image very clear and doesn't have anything distracting the eye. The left side of her body is lighter than the right which shows a good lighting contrast. What I find really cool about this cover is that her cover line located to the right of her says "Talks, swears and eats! - like a normal person." The magazine as well as many others are admiring her because even with fame she acts as if she doesn't have it. She's wearing a very fitting body suit showing off all her curves. This to me shows that you don't have to have a certain image for people to accept you. She is a completely humble celebrity who doesn't care about what people think about her, she is confident with her body and who she is. She is a powerful and inspirational person to many and that's the message I received when I saw this cover.
