Best Photo's of 2013

The subject in this photo is the couple standing in the middle of a natural disaster. The rule of balancing is evident in this photo because of the mess of the disaster all around the ground. The exposure quality is sharp and has a bit of light contrast. The sides of the image are darker than the middle of the photo leading the eye to the center of the photo where the couple stands.

The subject of this photo is the graffiti painting of Nelson Mandela. I think the rule of symmetry and patterns is evident because of the object in the middle and the paint cans on both side in the lower corners of the image. The man who is painting the image is what throws off the rule. The exposure quality is dim but clear, some light is more noticeable on certain parts of the image.

The subject of this photo is the deceased couple in the remains of a destroyed building grasping each other. The rule is framing, this is shown because it tells you what happened. The surroundings of the broken building, them being stuck in the concrete and knowing that they weren't going to make it, they held each other in their last moments. The exposure quality is a little dark but very clear.
