Major Project Idea

What is the topic of your project? The topic of my project is going to be over the Diamond Dazzlers varsity dance team at Akins High School

Who will you interview? I will interview the Diamond Dazzler director and two current team members.

What will you take photos of? I will take photos of the Diamonds.

What information will you research? 

• What type of project will you make? I'm going to create a flier.
• What service will you use? (Animoto, Infogram, Prezi, etc.) I will be using Aurasma.

Why is this the best service to make your final multimedia project?I think this is the best service to make my final multimedia project because it is interesting and entertaining.

When and where will you record and capture this content?

I will record and capture this content during our practices

When will you transfer your images, audio, text to your computer?

I will transfer my images, audio and text to my computer when I have all the pieces needed to put it together.

What is the name of your single favorite newspaper front page? Why is it your favorite? 

 The Long Island newspaper: Newsday 

What city and state is the paper from?

Long Island, New York

What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it? 

Because I think the topic (The Test Divide) is relevant to all students in the country. I'm interested in it because I believe many school districts need to really hear and know how exams are effecting students and teachers. 

How many stories are on the front page of your favorite? 

Three.

What do you notice that all newspaper front pages have in common? Look at design, size of photos, size of 

story text, etc.

The most important headline or topic always has the boldest or bigger font.

What are things that vary (or are different) on the front pages of different newspapers? Look at design, size of photos, size of headlines.

Some newspapers most interesting headlines have smaller sections on the front page than other headlines. Most headlines have a black font but some have different colors. Some newspapers have a lot of different headlines on their front page and others only have about 3 or 4 other headlines on their front pages.
